These are my temperamental moods,

I guess in other words,

I could have pretended

to ask all the right questions

without that tone in my voice. 

There was this excited Ms. 

who could not have waited

to become my burden,

I guess in other words,

that girl is my one true love

temperamental or otherwise 

I honestly don’t mind 

wasting time waiting on

my mood to fade.
