The garden struggle,
it’s just when you think,
you understand,
we have our differences
something always goes wrong.
Going first means
we’re making all the rules.
I promise to try,
to make you all happy and
even though I never will
I’ll be the first in line
without any a excuses.
This garden of ours,
have flowers that need things.
Sure they’re mostly forgiving
especially when we forget
we made certain promises,
to love unconditionally.
Yesterday and
every day in between
we should make certain promises
to take a few minutes
tend to the weeds.
There’s still enough time left
to admire the beauties,
but all that
starts in us first.
