Platform goodbyes
it will be a little while,
not having that laugh around,
not to mention
all the other things.
Remember, it’s me
yesterday when we were pushing
applying sunscreen
on sensitive shoulders.
The day is exactly the same,
this being the first hour
there sits a stupid mug
lipgloss and all
begging me to look inside.
