Morning Light. Morning Star

I give you my words
Where the sun burns
inside me slowly
you are my drug
the blue shadows
my reflections.
I’m unsure
exactly where to go
when I start to withdraw
from the pull of you.
You asked that I meet you
at hotel blue
exactly at midnight
you brought your lips to mine
whispering the echoes
I’ve held onto
from long ago
that feeling comes flooding
I know exactly what to do
I crawl inside.
My love is simmering
you invite me close
I open up and
in this softness
I take hold
melting our conversions
into the satin pillows.
I start as I’ve always done
inched up to your ear
hands holding wrists
I love seeing you stretched
deep against each breath
you cling to me
your ribs flex
against the curves
your hips invite me close
on the low end
I crash
slamming into your side
I enter your body.
The absolute pleasure source
starts to divide
the deep and slow motion
that keeps us in this rhythm
our quiet room
has no other choice
but to come alive
the drum beating in our music
matches our pulse.
We move through
each of our positions.
It isn’t until
the blue notes come calling
softly against the rain
I expertly wear your perfume.
You cover my entire body
soft in a way I suppose,
still, we push and pull
the rhythm covers us both
like lonely strangers
one is begging
to be released,
please, may i?
Just as permission is given
a tight squeeze
draws us close.
Morning light
Morning Star
we are the broken lovers
drawn together
to simply love
and be loved
in return.
