There’s something about
The afterwords
making love to you—-girl
all those yesterdays 
it still feels new to me
because you see
you’re my forever girl.  
I love how
you do things
your leg lays
just over
the edge of our bed
it’s easy I know
loving you
this way. 
Afterwards,
you do the same things
you’ve always done
checking to make sure
certain things
are perfect and pristine,
while other things
are there
exactly how we left them.
It’s easy to see
what kind of day
we’re about to have
from the start
this early session
keeps our mornings
from ever getting old
I love our 
afterwards.
