comes second now

that golden statue
receiving
what it was
we gave.

you’re a part of me now
you asked
that I trust
using a set of words
I’ve only read
from ancient books.
you’ve asked
and I have answered
placing a foundation
soft enough
for you to lie down.
Come tonight
we’ll travel
to our perfect state
where we’re balanced
