The Second Session

I honestly care
what’s on your mind
it’s another day here
another day longer
you’ve asked
for a second session.

The lights always bring
a healthy love-glow
a love that when it
goes under
it will be hard
to hold your breath.

Strong belly laughter
on sore elbows
crawling backwards
you try and help
I try and roll over
hiding our secret covers
just as you dig
I give in
to playful wrestling.

The room is filled
overflowing with music
it’s bitter cold
perfect for our second session
you open two windows
to turn and smile
I know that look
that smile.

Inched up super close
your favorite hour
telling tiny secrets
we can stay like this
frozen here in time
the chill is addicting
the warmth in your curves
all soft and delicate
no one is around.

Chin is tipped
to the tip of the nose
the path goes forward
to an easy pinch
hips turn wanting
the room is swallowed.
Shadows dance and play
here against
our hungry circle.

Crawling slowly
you close in
melted sharing
to the forever edge
the forbidden word
is softly bitten
fingers to pillow dig-in
this, the second session
has grown stronger
than the first time
we started all this.
