My mind just sits here
being all lazy,
I can’t quite stop
thinking about you lately.
I wish I had
more impulse control
so I could get up
and get all busy.
I’m laying here because
I can’t stop
thinking about you
I love you,
I’m telling you
I might just be crazy
you broke my mind
that night in that outfit.
My eyes were flooded
so full and amazing
there you were
sparkling
against this silence
I could feel
my heartbeat
in my throat.
so here I sit
writing for you
my one and only
I’ll do it all
until this message
gets through.
