The twist of time turns,
the girl turns away
here against the change
flaws she simply swore
whispered to herself.
Through admiring eyes
her critical flaws
are simply not seen.
Now don’t get this wrong
the girl most definitely
has a set of beautiful flaws.
Admire her faults
bring attention close to her
just as time tips the want
here on the edge of it all
she’s stunning
alongside her critical look
it’s easy to understand
it won’t be easy
convincing her
not to listen
to herself.
